What is Molly Ann Farms?

Molly Ann Farms is a large-format, independent adult use cannabis retail store (a.k.a. dispensary) located in Haledon, NJ. We are legally licensed by the State of New Jersey and Borough of Haledon to sell recreational cannabis. We focus on providing a positive experience for adults from all walks of life, offering a wide range of Cannabis products in an informative and convenient shopping experience.

Our name comes from the Molly Ann Brook, on which our parking lot has extensive frontage. As we aspire to maintain deep ties to the local community of Haledon and the surrounding towns, we are proud to have named the store after this feature of local geography, giving a nod to our host community’s history and neighboring towns in the process.

Any adult age 21 and over with a valid form of government issued identification can purchase from Molly Ann Farms.

No, you do not need a medical card or a doctor’s referral to purchase from Molly Ann Farms. We are a recreational cannabis retail market and serve all adults aged 21 and over who present a valid government ID.

Yes, everyone who enters the store is required to present a valid government issued ID showing you are 21+.

Yes, but only if minors are accompanied and supervised by their parent or legal guardian during their entire visit. Per State regulations, parents who need to bring their children inside Molly Ann Farms must provide proof of guardianship.. That said, under no circumstances can a person under 21 purchase cannabis. Sorry younger people, you just have to wait (and waiting is worth it).

Nope. Anyone presenting a valid government ID, including drivers licenses from out-of-state as well as passports, non-driver state IDs and military IDs, is permitted to shop with us.

In a single visit, you are legally permitted to buy up to an ounce of cannabis. More specifically by product category, it works out as follows:

  • Flower/Pre-Rolls/Shake: one ounce or 28.35 grams of usable cannabis
  • Concentrates such as vapes, oils, hash, kief and dabs: 4 grams or 4 mL
  • Edibles: 1,000 mg of THC in total across products
  • Combinations: no more than one ounce or 28.35 grams, or the equivalent of the combination of usable cannabis and cannabis products. For example, on one visit, you could buy all of the following and be slightly under the limit:
    – 2 eighths of flower (7 grams), plus
    – 2 half gram vape cartridges (equivalent to 7 grams of usable cannabis), plus
    – 3 five-packs of half gram pre-rolls (equivalent to 7.5 grams of usable cannabis), plus
    – 2 packs of edibles that have 100 mg of THC in each package (equivalent to 5.67 grams of usable cannabis).
  • Our budtenders or online store will tell you if your basket is at or over the limit, so you don’t have to worry about figuring this out yourself.

Yes, by visiting our mobile-friendly website at mollyannfarms.com and selecting Pre-Order Pick Up from the transaction types, you can place your order in advance and pick it up, from our walk up window designated for pre-order pick up only.

While we don’t have a drive through for cars, we do have a walk up window on the exterior of the building where orders placed in advance online can be picked up on foot.

Yes. There is a $3 fee to use the ATM on withdrawals up to $500.

Yes, we have over 60 on-site parking spots and additional street parking if needed.

NJ currently enjoys the lowest tax rates on legal cannabis in the country, so we have that going for us, which is nice. They are as follows:

  • NJ Sales Tax: 6.625%
  • Haledon Local Tax 2%

We do offer 10% off your first order when you also join our loyalty program, the Molly High Club.

We strive to provide consistently competitive pricing to every customer every day. We also love all of our customers, not just those in a particular group or class, so at this time, we do not offer special discounts for medical patients, first responders, seniors, students or veterans. We do offer a perpetual 5% to 10% discount in the form of store credit for our loyalty members.

All sales of cannabis products are final. If you have a defective product, at the manager’s discretion, you can be refunded or exchange it within 10 days of purchase with original packaging and purchase receipt. So outside of a defective product, all sales are final.

Legal cannabis is safer cannabis. All of our products are tested by state-licensed independent laboratories that ensure the cannabis you buy legally is free of harmful substances such as heavy metals (lead, mercury), bacteria (e coli), mold, fungus, pesticides, insects, dangerous chemical fertilizers and additives such as fentanyl or PCP that may be found in street cannabis. For every product we sell, you can receive a copy of the full lab results for that particular product batch and lot, which also includes potency and other useful information (cannabinoid percentages and terpene percentages). We doubt your legacy plug or closest pop-up smoke shop is providing you with the same level of verified safety and quality control.

Other good reasons to buy legal weed are it generates local and state tax revenue, it creates legitimate jobs and economic opportunities for the surrounding area, and it reduces burden on local resources like the police or EMTs. It also helps keep cannabis legal for everyone who wants to enjoy it without fear of persecution.

Right now, licensed cannabis retailers in NJ can only sell cannabis products that are sourced from licensed New Jersey cultivators and manufacturers, and to be frank, currently there aren’t enough of them (10 companies as of October 2023). So a lack of regulated market maturity and competition is dragging on price and quality vs other markets. The good news is that more and more New Jersey licensed cultivators and manufacturers are coming online in the adult use market, so we expect to see prices fall and quality increase over time. And hey, the Federal government just might finally come around to federal legalization, which would then permit interstate commerce of cannabis and allow us to source cannabis from an enormous national marketplace. So don’t forget to vote.
